With a background as both a Dive Master and a BFA in Film & Television from SCAD, Darlien brings a rare blend of underwater expertise and cinematic storytelling. She has worked across a wide range of environments — from complex deep dives with extensive logistics to simple shore entries for agile shoots.

Her strengths lie in her keen attention to detail, empathy with marine life, and collaborative spirit with crews of all sizes. Comfortable in both remote field locations and structured production settings, she has contributed to everything from large-scale tourism campaigns and international brand commercials to intimate documentaries.

Technically versatile, Darlien is certified for various dive scenarios and skilled across camera systems — from high-end cinema rigs in Gates housings to compact underwater kits. As one of the few, if not the only, dedicated female underwater cinematographers in the Caribbean, her credits include work for The Weather Channel, Honda, and multiple tourism boards.
