Darlien Morales is a Puerto Rican illustrator, Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker, and medal-winning kung fu athlete whose collectible sticker shop bridges her life in visual arts and martial arts.
Darlien created these kung fu stickers with over four years of experience in Eagle Claw kung fu under the guidance of Sifu. The collection helps fund her and her teammates as they represent Puerto Rico in international competitions. Most recently, she won a medal in every category she entered at the Orlando International Martial Arts Competition, including empty hand, long weapon, short weapon, and sanda fighting.
The designs come from actual training lessons and the everyday needs of martial artists striving to improve. Darlien designed them to solve her own artistic "itches" while highlighting the lessons needed to become a better practitioner.
Why the Stickers Exist
This collection aims to inspire and uplift martial artists from all backgrounds, well beyond just kung fu. Having started in taekwondo as a child, Darlien sees how deeply different combat arts connect as she continues to grow as an athlete.
Bridging Art and Combat Sports
Darlien is an Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker and underwater cinematographer from the Caribbean whose work explores adventure, science, and cultural heritage. Her illustrations have been featured by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Savannah College of Art and Design. She continues to produce immersive media and paint the stories that shape her world both above and below the water.
